  1. Hi Annabel we are thinking of movung to noosa from melbourne as we are leaving friends and family behind we are concerned about our kids being accepted into the noosa community. We are also looking at the catholic schools so any feedback woulb be appreciated thaks Mel

    • I don’t see why they wouldn’t be! Our kids have slotted in fine and there seem to be new kids arriving at our school all the time. They’re all welcomed. The Nosa Catholic schools are St. Thomas Moore for primary school (which is right opposite Sunshine Beach State Primary) and St. Teresa, a Catholic high school, which is in Noosaville. I can’t tell you any more about the Catholic schools except that some of my friends’ kids go there and they all love it. I’m very happy with Sunshine Beach State Primary but can’t comment on the state high school as my kids aren’t old enough to go there yet. I hope this helps! Just fire away if you have any more questions.

      • Thanks Annabel we have 3 daughters and the older two school age girls are nervous about starting new schools in a new state and having to make new friends -so am I !!! so they will be happy to hear that .
I did reassure them that such a beautiful place would HAVE to have friendly people but its nice to hear from someone else who has had the experience!!!
I also checked out the catholic schools websites and they both look great.
Well I hope you are having a lovely mild winter- its freezing here but I look forward to enjoying qld winters in the near future. Take care Mel
